Established in 1983, InTechnology is in a unique

portfolio of value added voice and data services that
are integrated and delivered over its own end to end
quality assured IP network.
The business, based in Harrogate, Reading and London is
now purely a managed services provider. Its boasts the
first Public Network connected IP Telephony switches,
placing the business in a prime position to capitalise
on the development of IP based Public Voice Networks,
whilst its stake in Mobile Tornado gives it exclusive
rights to UK distribution of the Push To Talk mobile
application which has also been integrated into the
InTechnology national IP network, another first. The
broad managed data services portfolio is designed to
remove risk and secure business information; these
services are delivered from its World Class hosting
centres, which are also connected to the IP network.
The business turnover is now £50m and growing.
InTechnology employs almost 200 people, over 90% of whom
are client facing. A newly formed Professional Services
division leverages the deep level of skills held by its
people, ensuring that the transition to the new world of
IP is a smooth one.

Fresh focus enables InTechnology
to capitalise on voice, data and network services
heritage to solve strategic and operational issues
facing UK businesses

4th 2007 – InTechnology, an integrated voice and data
solutions provider, today launches a new identity and
strategy. The new identity for the
Harrogate-headquartered Managed Services company
reflects its focus to provide a fully integrated and
managed voice, data, network solutions to UK businesses.
The company has also organised itself to maximise its
consultancy expertise in order to offer a complete
end-to-end solution to its customers.
The announcement of the new strategy
follows the disposal of its distribution business in
2006, the subsequent acquisition of Evoxus Limited, an
integrated communications service provider in January
2007 and a recent investment in Mobile Tornado, an
international mobile technology solutions business. The
investments have enabled InTechnology to enhance its
service capabilities and to deliver services and
solutions that are embedded into the intelligence layer
in its national data network.
Designed to
remove the fear of technology change, the new strategy
will enable InTechnology to concentrate on three key new
areas that meet the growing demands of its customers in
addition to it’s existing services of enterprise voice,
networks, storage and hosting.

Integrated IP Telephony
– the provision of integrated
voice and data slutions, delivered over an end to
end quality assured IP network for small to medium
sized businesses and homeworkers, with the
flexibility to tailor the level of service to match
their own way of working.

Business mobility
– with customers becoming increasingly mobile,
InTechnology’s JustTalk service to be launched in
the Summer based on Mobile Tornado’s Push To Talk
technology will enable “walkie talkie” instant
mobile messaging for the workforce on the move,
utilising its unique mobile application, embedded
into InTechnology’s national IP network.

Storage and application
consolidation –
enabling business efficiencies through scalability –
customers experiencing huge growth in information
and data will be offered enhanced Back up and
Restore (Vbak) for normal business data, Replication
for mission critical data and Archiving services for
data that must be saved for commercial or regulatory
reasons. These new services are designed hand
control of the data lifecycle back to the business
without the headache of managing IT infrastructure.
