News Summary

• 28/08/2010: Paul Dewberry rode the Victoria CC 10.02TT. Alex Dowsett won the event with a course record of 19:47. Paul finished joint 26th with Rik Palmer with 24:44 in an event which saw 82 riders on the start sheet.
• 22/08/2010: Ben Wright and Paul Dewberry rode the Essex Roads Road Race. Paul pulled out with just over a lap to go and Ben finished in the bunch. Douglas Allen from Interbike won the event, on his 40th birthday.
• 21/08/2010: Andrew Elderfield rode the LVRC Eastern Championships race at Hog Hill. After starting well in a two man break away Andy came in with the bunch to finish 9th.
• 20/08/2010: Andrew Elderfield rode the Welwyn Track League meet. In the opening 10 lap scratch race Andy was luck to avoid a crash and finished 4th. In the second 10 mile scratch Andy rode in a break of six riders who lapped the field before getting dropped and finishing 6th.
• 18/08/2010: Paul Dewberry, Simon Beeforth and John Sanderson rode the final Colchester Rovers mid-week 10TT of the year on the Little Bentley circuit. Paul went round in a course personal best in a time of 23:19 and came 3rd. John went round in 25:40 and came 17th and Simon, riding his first 10TT, finished in 26:36 for 24th place. Mark Lloyd won with 22:39 in an event which saw 46 riders start.
• 15/08/2010: Andrew Elderfield, Paul Dewberry and Ben Wright rode the 77km Mid Suffolk 3/4 Road Race, promoted by Stowmarket CC. Ben Wright finished in 9th place, picking up enough points to earn his 2nd category race licence.
• 13/08/2010: John Sanderson rode the final round of the Ford CC Circuit Races at Dunton and finished just behind the bunch having almost got tangled up in a last lap crash.
• 8/08/2010: Paul Dewberry, Mike Naulls and John Sanderson rode the VC Revolution 24TT posting times of 59:45, 59:48 and 1:06:16 respectively. The course was won by Jason White of Cycle Premier with a new course record of 53:08.
• 7/08/2010: John Sanderson rode the ECCA 10TT on the E2 course and posted a time 24:13, an improvement of 2:24 from his previous 10TT personal best. The time was good enough to finish 6th fastest in the handicap competition, which earns John an ECCA medal.
• 5/08/2010: Mike Naulls rode the Alton CC 10TT in 22:58 and finished 3rd out of around 18 starters.
• 3/08/2010: Mike Naulls rode the Farnham RC's club 10 finishing 7th from 35 starters in 22:58. Full Results
• 1/08/2010: Paul Dewberry rode the Colchester Rover 47 mile TT. Despite a head wind all the way from Birch to Heybridge, which riders faced twice on the two lap course, Paul managed to knock 3 minutes 27 seconds off his personal best and went round in 1:5:48 and finished 16th overall. The event was won by Steve Dennis with a time of 1:41:44.
