News Summary

  • 26/09/2010: Paul Dewberry braved the driving rain and strong gusts of wind to ride the Lea Valley 30 mile TT. Despite a water logged bike computer Paul was able to pace his efforts and passed several riders on his way to 12th place in a time of 1:18:02. The winner was Richard O'Rourke with 1:06:02.
  • 19/09/2010: John Sanderson was on the start line for the Ipswich Triathlon Club Duathlon at Alton Water which comprised a 5k run, 23k bike and 5k run. Running 5K in 23:34 (65th fastest out of 84 starters). biking 23k in 43:46 (32nd fastest) and 26:29 (59th fastest) was good enough for a time of 1:33:49 overall and 50th place out of 82 finishers. Former VC Revolution members Joe Skipper and Andrew Minns were also racing and they clocked 1:15:38 (3rd overall) and 1:31:48 (42nd overall) respectively.
  • 18/09/2010: Mike Naulls rode the Sotonia Autumn 25 TT, improving on his previous PB of 59:03 to finish in 58:19.
  • 10/09/2010: Andrew Elderfield rode the Welyn Track League events finishing 3rd in the 10 lap points race and 7th in the 10 mile scratch race. Full report available on the London CycleSport website
  • 5/09/2010: Paul Dewberry rode the Stowmarket and District Open 10 TT and, despite having to deal with a puncture on the way to the start, went round in 23-26 and came around 18th out of a field of 71. The event was won by veteran rider Ian Cammish in a time of 21-25.
