News Reports

• Nov 2011 - VCR entered a record number of riders at the Thetford Winter Series Mtb Round 1. The juniors performed wel with Will Kearse 3rd, Ollie Edwards 5th and R. Phelan 6th. The seniors also fared well, Paul Thomas coming in 4th, James Bowley 31th, Darren Cousins 98th and Gavin Wheeler 154th. in the vets Andy Crowther was 101st, Bob Bardell 106th, Dave Hales 128th, Julian Greaves 137th & Mark Bowley 138th in his first race for VCR.
• Oct 2011 - VCRs king of the velodrome put in a great performance at the LVRC Track Championships coming home with a well deserved silver medal in the 750TT. Read the race report here.
• Oct 2011 - Gorrick Endura Autmun MTB Classic Round 1 - On a fast and furious course VCRs Paul Thomas won the open male class. A large contingent of VCR riders placed well with Wil Kerse home in 13th. James Bowley 65th, Ruairi Phelan 92nd and Oliver Edwards 97th.
• Oct 2011 - Several VCR riders took on the infamous Dusk till Dawn
• Oct 2011 - In a fast and furious Maldon Road race Andrew Elderfield finished in 32nd with Shane Chapman not far behind in 35th - a great achievement in his first road race.
• July 2nd 2011 - James Kerr completed La Marmotte - one of the toughest Sportives in Eurpore. Read the ride report here.
• May 28th 2011 - The second round of VCRs very own Criterium series. Full write up here.
• May 6th 2011 - Welwyn Track League: Andrew Elderfield represented the club in the "A" category races, picking up a 7th in the 10 lap scratch race and finishing safely in the bunch in the 10 mile scratch.
• 23rd April 2011 - VCR put on the first of Criteriums it is holding this year in Woodbridge. Here is the full write up of the races.
• April 17th 2011 - VCR staged its very own road race. Two VCR riders finished high up. Here is a full race report and photos.
• April 2nd/3rd 2011 - VCR was represented at the Herne Hill track meet by just one rider. Click here to find out how Andrew got on.
• April 3rd 2011 - Several VCR members will took part in the Essex Roads Spring Lambs Sportive, otherwise known as the Essex 100.
• March 2011 - VC Revolution traveled to the Peak District for a training weekend in the hills
• March 2011 - VC Revolution places well in the Mud Sweat & Gears Warm Up Series
