VCR will be sending a crack team of 8 rider to participate in the Tour de Tendring, one of the areas most fun and open cycling events in the calender. Our team for the event is: Alan Lawrence, Michael Watts, Richard Gaine, Shane Chapman, David Hales, Luke Sikkema, John Sanderson & Chris Beckman.

As well as aiming to raise the profile of cycling in the area the Tour de Tendring is a charity event with all teams being asked to raise money. VCR will this year be raising money for a very worthy cause, East Anglia's Children's Hospices. EACH supports families and cares for children and young people with life-threatening conditions across Essex, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Suffolk. By raising sponsorship for EACH on the Tendring Bike Ride, we can help them continue to provide the valuable care and activities that the children and young people need.
