VCR Members wives meet up for a Saturday Ride

At the summer BBQ in August, Veronique (Vero) Pearson (wife of Ian) decided that the riders WAGS should meet for a social ride, said ride would include a short ride to a licensed establishment for the consumption of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages (the last part isn't true but I'm trying to be politically correct here!)

Saturday the 15th September was the first of the rides and below is Vero's report.

We did it... and it was such a laugh! We loved it all, the ride wasn't too hard or too long, just enough time for us girls to crack up a few jokes and gossip a bit before we landed at the pub! There was only 3 of us so we ended up having only 3 rounds (was that 3 bottles of Chardonnay them? Ed), we need at least 6 girls next time, the more the merrier lol. The ride back was even better, boys your wives are fantastic! Can't wait till next time. And here is the proof we went (XXX):

So here the proof that VCR does provide and support cycling for all levels!

Personally I think they rode from Tesco's Highwoods (pictured above) to the Rovers Tye (about 200m away !!)
